Proposal Manager

(Workplace Design and Build)

As a vital member of our client’s Bids and Proposals Design team, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with sales teams, project directors, and subject matter experts to craft exceptional bids and proposals in the dynamic Design and Build/Construction industry, focusing on London and international markets. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines, and uphold quality standards is fundamental to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with project directors and stakeholders to develop compelling bids and proposal documents.
  • Lead the creation of Workplace Design and Build proposals, encompassing PQQ/RFI/RFP responses, presentations, and capability statements.
Content Creation:
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to generate engaging content across various media, enhancing the client’s brand and market positioning.
  • Assist in creating storyboards for bids, demonstrating initiative in guiding and effectively communicating narratives.
Consistency and Branding:
  • Ensure top-tier graphics production, maintaining branding and design consistency throughout the organization.
  • Uphold quality standards for sales and marketing collateral, ensuring brand recognition, tone of voice, and messaging consistency.
Team Collaboration:
  • Provide support to the centralized bids and proposals team, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Learning and Development:
  • Stay abreast of Bids, Proposals, Graphics, and Design trends through continuous learning and development.
Key Skills:
  • Graphic design proficiency.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign; experience in Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong capabilities in page formatting, layouts, templating, and typesetting.
  • Familiarity with media creation for both print and digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in crafting compelling narratives, both written and visual.
  • Solid grasp of written English, with the ability to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and typos under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at collaborative work with diverse disciplines and personalities.
  • Robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to establish clear boundaries to optimize work efficiency and productivity.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
