Workplace Consultant – London – £55k+

Our client with over 30 years experience have delivered exceptional office interiors thanks to the exceptional people they employ.

The objective is a simple one: to transform office design for the benefit of people and business. They have 100 employees and are a design-led agency with all the in-house services they need to provide well- considered, well-informed, and successful projects. They take time to learn about their clients and create a tailored project team of the perfect experts to match projects and businesses.

For the past 20 years, agile working or activity-based environments have been in high demand. 2020 has rewritten the rule book and business leaders are now crying out for assistance in reimagining their workplaces.

Job purpose

This role will be to create strategies to help clients make better use of their workspace in terms of efficiency, learnings from pandemic lockdown and user’s needs. Support and enable the optimal design and implementation of sophisticated, flexible working environments. Applying business psychology and research of workplace trends to enable clients to design, build and maintain innovative workplaces more cost effectively.


  • Keep up to date with the latest workplace trends

  • Use research and analysis of an organisation’s current state to inform strategy

  • Work with clients to help them evaluate their needs

  • Build a detailed picture of an organisation’s overall vision and their future space requirements

  • Create workplace strategies and help organisations translate these into design and lead them through to implementation

  • Challenge an organisation’s requirements, based on wider knowledge of workplace trends, and translate into a design brief or accommodation strategy

  • Create innovative & efficient designs that transform the productivity of employees

  • Draw on a range of disciplines to create efficient workplace strategies; architecture, technology, business, economics/finance, surveying, psychology, ergonomics, socio-demographics, statistics

  • Understand and explain how business psychology can be applied to the organisation’s advantage

  • Develop sophisticated programmes to ensure staff buy into their new space and understand how to use it in the best way

  • Balance, align and leverage the physical, organisation and technological roadmaps of an organisation
