Principal, Strategy – London. Salary negotiable
- To lead and manage the workplace strategy team for the UK business
- To work closely with other discipline leads and their teams to ensure execution of the integrated methodology

What you’re responsible for
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining local Strategy processes, templates and guidelines to enhance the company Strategy offering to clients
- Contribute to the development of and execute the global Strategy discipline business plan
- Implement and execute the global and regional strategy, standards/practices, processes and technology solutions across the UK for the Strategy discipline
- Strengthening Design outcomes and solutions by providing greater insight into the clients’ drivers for workplace change
- Performance reviews
- Adequate resourcing, training and engagement plans are implemented to meet the needs of Strategy Team
- Sound financial management of the Workplace Strategy P&L.
- Driving collaboration across internal teams to enable the effective delivery of the company methodology
- Ensure workforce plans and organisation structure meet the local business needs, leveraging the full capability of our global strategy talent pool
- Creating a culture of high engagement across the Strategy discipline to drive results and maintain the team culture
- Develop and implement risk management plans and ensuring appropriate action is taken when risks arise e.g. legal, reputational and financial risks
- Identifying and collaborating with Client Partnerships to win strategy/integrated opportunities in the market
- Work with Marcomms to build the company brand in the UK, including generation of thought leadership content
- Leading key pitch presentations on Strategy and Design
- Leading and developing high performing innovative strategy teams
- Collaborating with other Principals, Strategy and cross-discipline Principals to ensure the workforce plans and organisation structure meet the needs of their location(s)
Technical knowledge and skills
- Thorough understanding of workplace research, metrics and strategy models, e.g. activity based working, Agile working, etc.
- Experience in leading/conducting quantitative and/or qualitative research
- Understanding of organisation design and development models, change Management
- Project financial management
- Client orientation
- Ability to sell, pitching to win, public speaking including storytelling
- Building organisational talent
- Business acumen, commercial acumen, entrepreneurship, driving for results
- Organisational agility
- Understanding of design/build business model
Qualifications and experience
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Workplace, Management, Change Management or equivalent experience
- Led a high performing strategy team in a top tier organisation across a region
- Demonstrated capability delivering industry recognised marquee projects
- Diverse breadth of experience
