Role Overview

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Survey Technician to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for field data collection and providing technical support for the BIM team with the aim of producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings using Revit. As Junior Survey Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects.

General Responsibilities

Assisting project teams with field data collection, processing, and analysis; this includes using a laser scanner.

Creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Revit from survey data, ensuring that all drawings and models are accurate, comprehensive, and meet the company’s standards.

Conducting site visits and aiding with surveying tasks as required, working alongside the BIM team to ensure that all data is collected efficiently and accurately.

Skills / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in an Architecture, Engineering or a Construction related field.
Proficiency in the use of Revit software, with experience in creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and interpret technical drawings and data accurately.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proactive, can-do attitude, good team player

Good written and verbal communicator
Organizational skills in prioritising, plan workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
