Furniture PROJECT COORDINATOR – LONDON. £30k.
It is imperative the candidate is a team player and willing to support the team with all aspects of the sales process. A very hands on
person is required with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude, common sense and excellent organizational skills.
The candidate must be personable, have the ability to communicate at all levels to ensure constant flow of information between
departments, suppliers and clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop and grow within the furniture team and further develop their skills.
Sales and administration support for three Furniture Consultants and the Head of Furniture.
Using briefing information to put together pitch proposals including costs and images to short deadlines working with Power Point and
Full furniture take offs using their understanding of the market place to help specify solutions to fit into budgets and programme.
Liaising with internal design and cost teams to ensure that our pitch proposals include the most up to date drawings, programme information and pitch time frames.
Updating proposals to turn into formal contracts.
Ordering furniture using the in-house operating system to match the contract specification, programme and delivery.
Project managing the orders to check the manufacturers have acknowledged the correct products.
Coordinating the deliveries and working closely with our project manager to ensure all of the furniture is delivered to site and all of the snagging is reported and followed up.
Carrying out storage audits for prospective clients and producing detailed linear meterage information to be used in client proposals.
Liaising with the Contracts team to ensure the latest drawing and programme are still relevant and any site restrictions are communicated to the project manager before the deliveries arrive.
Providing detailed installation information for the Furniture Project Manager to work with including distribution to the Building Managers and clients.
The role involves multi tasking and juggling information every day. Attention to detail and being very organised and methodical is
essential, as is working as part of the team to help achieve the team target.
This role can be as exciting and involved as the individual make it. There is scope for the person to concentrate on either sales, design or project management in the future. It is a very fast pace, aggressive and successful environment; the ability to prioritise on an hourly
basis is key to the success of this position.
