Clerkenwell Design Week 2016 was the seventh edition, and it has quickly become one of the hottest tickets in the London Design Calendar.  The show hosted the best in design from around the world as well as London based designers and architects.

Over 120 spaces were filled with exhibitions, installations, and live events. Key to the show was to provide a rich and varied exploration of design and include a new layout, more destinations focusing on the use of public space, diverse architecture and the area’s strong roots in making. Thousands of visitors attended and it cemented its position on the international cultural map.

Highlights were Tom Dixon, collaborated with Andrew Baughen, the Vicar of St James, a classic 17th century church on Clerkenwell Green. The perfect backdrop to showcase the new Tom Dixon lighting and furniture products.

Other highlights included the urban pleasure garden from HASSEL and HAG, the ‘Sensorium‘ draws on Clerkenwell’s scandalous reputation for 18th century high jinks.
